Internet Marketing Intern

OneWebsite is hiring a FULL-TIME Internet Marketing Intern for our Paid Partner Training Program.

Internet Marketing is a large, dynamic,  lucrative and fun field that includes Social Networking (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter), and Blogging (researching and writing articles), but it is so much more.

OneWebsite has built thousands of websites responsible for millions of yearly visitors. The Internet Marketing Intern will help fill our junior roles on various website projects, while training you to do the very same process for your own website(s).

You’ll be trained on the job, and provided the tools and coaching to build your own online business while working for us. At the end of the term, you’ll have a fully functioning Website Business perhaps earning hundreds, or even thousands of dollars per month.

At the end of the contract you’ll have the option to stay on with OneWebsite in a variety of departments (if invited), partner with OneWebsite on a new joint venture project (building websites together), or leaving to peruse your own ventures with the in-depth and complete training you’ll have received.

Job Description

This job will start very simple, with a handful of tasks. We’ll train you every step of the way with detailed videos that illustrate step-by-step each task required. These tasks include setting up Social Networks, Market Research and Writing Articles. Whenever possible you’ll be assigned tasks that meet the particular aspects of Internet Marketing that you are most interested in.

Typical Writer / Researcher Responsibilities

1. Basic Keyword and Market Research
2. Research and Outline Assigned Articles
3. Write Articles of varying length, from 500 – 5,000 words
4. Edit and Review your own and others’ articles
5. Article Formatting and Optimization

Typical Social Network Marketing Responsibilities

1. Market Research – Niche Candidate Research, Content Strategy Research, Product Research
2. Report Preparation – Create simple reports on research activities
3. Content Syndication Activities – Article Marketing, Status Updates
4. Content Distribution Activities – Submitting to TubeMogul, Blog Networks
5. Link Building Activities – Blog Comments, Forum Comments, Social Media Interactions
6. List Building Activities and Recruitment – Affiliates, Advertisers, Bloggers, Advocates, Staff postings.
7. Miscellaneous online and offline tasks

Internet Marketing Training Modules

Eventually over 6 months, you’ll learn more and more of the entire process of Website Business and Internet Marketing including:

1. Discovery – Skill development and Personal Development – Assuring your continued success
2. Project Management – Using various accounts, services and tools to act as you Mission Control
3. Website Design and Development using WordPress, plugins and themes.
4. Researching Niches, The Markets, Content, and Building a KnowledgeBase
5. Content Creation and the Editorial Process of Queueing , Authoring and Publishing Articles
6. Social Networking – Marketing, Syndication and Distribution of Content over various Networks
7. Monetization – Making Money through Sales and other Online Methods like Affiliate Marketing
8. Information Production – How to turn blogs into Books, Membership Sites, and Coaching Programs
9. Business Development – The process of turning blogs into valuable businesses ready for sale

Job Requirements

Because this job is online based, you’ll need a few basic set of skills and equipment. These requirements are absolute. You must have them to be considered.

4. You should be a self starter and able to work independently.
5. You should be mature, responsible and have good work ethics.

Beneficial Skills (will train on each of these as well)

1. Computer Skills: Know how to save, download, upload, cut, copy paste
2. Excellent General Internet Skills (Browsing, Social Networking, Searching)
3. Experience with WordPress or Similar CMS
4. Desktop and Web Publishing Experience – Word, Pages
5. Basic Page-Layout Skills like Illustrator or Photoshop
6. Documenting Skills: Working with Google Docs – Spreadsheets
7. Excellent and Fast Typer of at least 60 wpm – Transcriptions Required
